Churnbridge Row Affordable Homes Available in July!

We are excited to announce Churnbridge Row North Cerney development will be complete this July, consisting of 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom properties across 12 beautiful new affordable homes. We are asking for people with a local connection to the North Cerney and Bagendon parishes who may be interested in a new home to get in touch with the Cirencester Housing team immediately by emailing

We would like to say a big thank you to Harper & Sons Construction for their hard work and ability to rapidly finish the homes following relaxing of the Covid-19 restrictions. We are very pleased with the resulting high-quality homes.

We would also like to thank the local community for their strong support of the development and patience with road and traffic disruptions as a result of construction activities.

The lack of affordable homes is a big problem affecting rural communities across England and this is no less the case here in North Cerney. There are many factors – including limited investment in delivering affordable homes – that have contributed to this crisis and many local households, who are critical to the welfare of their communities, are forced to move or live elsewhere due to the lack of suitable homes. Cirencester Housing, the Parish Councils of North Cerney and Bagendon and Cotswold District Council have been working hard to bring affordable homes to the area since 2013. It is well documented that affordable homes help sustain and contribute positively to the vibrant community.

We are delighted to bring 12 new and high-quality homes to North Cerney and believe the homes will be a positive contribution to grow and support the local community.
