Renting a home from us

Cirencester Housing properties for rent are advertised through Homeseeker Plus. Once you are registered, you will be able to place a bid on properties that you are eligible for.

For our homes in rural and village locations that require a qualifying local connection, Cirencester Housing maintains a waiting list. Once we confirm your local connection, we can add you to the waiting list accordingly. Cirencester Housing will notify those on the waiting list by email when we advertise a rural home for rent on Homeseeker Plus. We do not maintain a waiting list for any other properties.

Queries relating to your Homeseeker Plus application should be made directly with Cotswold District Council’s Housing Advice Service.

Buying a home from us

Cirencester Housing now offers Shared Ownership homes, which is a fantastic way for those of you who would like to get your foot on the property ladder but can’t afford to buy a home on the open market.

You will pay a monthly rent for the share that remains in Cirencester Housing’s ownership. Buying a Shared Ownership home results in a mortgage and rent that may be less than if you bought a property outright.

Your home will be yours and you will have all the rights and responsibilities of being a home owner.

When we have Shared Ownership homes available for sale, the will be advertised on our Shared Ownership Homes page on our website and we will place an announcement on our News feed until they are sold.
