Chief Executive
As Chief Executive, Maureen supports the team to ensure they have what they need to deliver our commitments to customers and fulfil our purpose as a local, charitable housing association. She does this by listening to feedback from customers, working with the Board to develop strategy and ensure good governance. She wants to be sure Cirencester Housing continues to provide services to local people for another 70 years.


Head of Property Services
John has over 35 years’ experience working in the social housing sector beginning his journey as an apprentice bricklayer and recently completing 35 years at Solihull Community Housing as Operations Manager.
One of six siblings living on a large Social Housing Estate, John understands the need for affordable safe homes and a green pleasant environment.
John enjoys spending time with family, fishing, jogging, walking and spoiling his four grand daughters.


Housing Officer
Tom is your go-to guy when you have questions or need some assistance to help you live in your home and manage your tenancy. You might refer to him as Housing Manager, but we simply say ‘Tom will know what to do!’
Our Board
Cirencester Housing is governed by a Board which operates under the National Housing Federation Code of Governance. The Board entirely consists of voluntary members who have experience in a wide range of expertise. The Board crucially is responsible for the strategic and governance oversight of the organisation.


Board Chair and Audit Committee Member
Nicola is a qualified risk management practitioner with 10 years’ experience in the social housing sector. She has detailed understanding of the registered provider regulatory and legislative environment and specialises in data protection and anti-money laundering compliance.
Her previous background and experience in finance and facilities management has been valuable in her voluntary role as a director of a resident’s management company and she is also the Chair of the Local Governing Board of a new primary school.’


Vice-Chair & Audit Committee Member
Tim is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants with over 15 years experience across a wide range of businesses. He gained valuable experience as a Trustee at a small children’s charity in Bristol acting as their Treasurer for over 10 years. Tim is currently Finance and Commercial Director of a local business and and is able to offer his experience, beyond finance, in a number of areas including strategy, project management, HR and business development. During his spare time, Tim is kept busy by his young children and he also enjoys gardening and DIY.


AUDIT COMMITTEE MEMBER
Paul originally comes from Gloucestershire and now lives in Cirencester. He has a background in construction and civil engineering with a particular knowledge of Health and Safety. Paul Chairs our Audit Committee.


Board Member
Dr Davies retired from a professional services career in banking a number of years ago and set up a property portfolio. Graham has a valuable array of professional experience, academic achievements and a desire to work with a housing association that he brings to Cirencester Housing. This desire comes from being involved with the Chapter 1 Charity in Cheltenham whilst looking to develop a portfolio of financially viable rental units. He was particularly drawn to working with Chapter 1 because of their commitment to helping some of the most vulnerable members of the community to get back on their feet and in a position to move forward with their lives through the provision of housing.


Board Member
Kirsty is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and Project Management professional with over 25 years’ experience in the affordable housing and property sector. Kirsty has worked at a Senior Management level for a number of Housing Associations and has a background in property acquisition/disposals, new build development and construction activities. Kirsty has worked extensively across the area for many years and lives on the Gloucestershire/South Worcestershire border.
Kirsty has previous Trustee experience having been involved for many years with her local rural village hall run as a charity for community benefit.


Board Member
Helen joined the board in 2020, bringing skills and experience in facilities management and residential property. She has a specialist interest in housing management and repairs and maintenance, with an overarching focus on tenant experience. Helen is an experienced director, and has recently completed a certificate in Company Direction with the Institute of Directors. Helen is also a member of the British Property Foundation Residential Board.


Board Member
Mark has lived in Cirencester for almost 20 years and has over 10 years experience of working in Health and Social Care. He is currently a Trustee for a local Housing charity.
Mark is a Director for his consultancy business and offers experience in project management, strategy, governance and business development.
He enjoys relaxing with his family, running and football.


AUDIT COMMITTEE MEMBER
Cait is a qualified accountant with over 20 years’ experience in accounting, auditing and financial reporting. Her background with Big 4 audit firms has provided her with a valuable foundation in audit skills and internal control assessments, and she has more recently has led on accounting policy development and technical application issues at a large financial services provider.
Cait is originally from the east coast of the United States, but has lived with her family in the Cirencester area since 2013.

Our President
The 8th Earl Bathurst was integral in the formation of Cirencester Housing and remained involved throughout his life. The 9th Earl Bathurst followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the Board of Cirencester Housing in 1991. Lord Bathurst stepped down as a Board Member in 2014 .To demonstrate respect for his contributions and recognise Cirencester Housing’s ties with the Bathurst family, he was invited to become our President. We are pleased that Lord Bathurst actively continues to support and be involved with Cirencester Housing.
